I wonder if we thought about this, if our social media feeds would be either empty or more productive… from a commentary:
“God wants us to think carefully about what we say. It doesn’t matter if what we feel like saying is factually true. Is it helpful? Is it creating a better future? What matters is the impact our words will have. We are constantly creating the conditions we will be stuck with five minutes from now. So how do we create the future we want? We keep remembering that all our sins have been forgiven by God and forgotten by him forever. He is creating those new conditions where we sinners can live again. Okay. Now we know how to treat each other.”
