When I was 17 I spent a several weeks working on building an orphanage in Ukraine (in the countryside outside of Odessa) Here’s a picture I took at a weekday worship service where Christians gathered (Evangelical Baptists) to sing, pray and study the Bible.

I think about these folks every time I see a headline from the violence happening spot jsut like these to people just like these, and ask God to be merciful and to protect innocent people from harm.
